The Beginning . . . I978
After graduating from high school, I was drafted into the Army in 1968 and ended up doing a two year tour in Germany. Pulling guard duty on those cold, freezing nights motivated me into going to college after I finished my military duty. I attended Sam Houston University for four years and ended up with a BA in photography in 1974. My plan, at the time, was to become a professional photographer of some sort, but life circumstances dictated that I become a camera repairman instead. I started repairing film cameras in 1978 and have been doing so for 40+ years.
